Meet Jo

Let me introduce myself, my name is Jo and I have a self-confessed obsession for interiors. My journey through education centred around all things creative taking me through art college and university where I secured a degree in design. During my degree I acquired lots of hands-on material experience particularly in my specialist areas of woodwork and metal. This enabled me to secure the young designer silversmith bursary from Goldsmiths allowing me to design and make in solid silver.

Following my degree my career began working consecutively with two of the largest national retailers as an Interior Design consultant gaining further Interior Design qualifications and attending product knowledge courses and factory visits. To further my industry knowledge and reputation I secured a role as brand development manager for six of the largest Interior brands in the UK giving me the opportunity to experience the design industry from a different perspective and grow my network. Although this experience gave me exciting opportunities working at design shows and collaborating with designers across the region my heart remained with pure interior design and the love of sharing my creativity and industry knowledge direct with clients. In 2020 following the pandemic, life changed and home became more important than ever. In response to this I began my journey as a freelance Interior Designer to share my passion and enthusiasm with clients. I take pride in getting to know my clients and assisting them in creating design solutions that reflect their individual needs and personality.
